The Summer Reading Programme is open to all children in South Lanarkshire age 4 years and over. Get a sticker for each library visit and add stickers to your own fold-out poster to complete the picture. Receive a small reward after 2 visits to the library, and then again for 4 visits; after 6 visits you will receive a medal. You can read as many books as you like - everyone who reads at least one book will receive a certificate, which can be presented at a school assembly.
When you receive your silver sticker (after 4 visits) you will also receive a voucher for a free swim pass at any South Lanarkshire Leisure pool. In addition, when you receive your medal you will be entered into a prize draw to win a Junior Fitness Membership courtesy of South Lanarkshire Leisure.
At the end of the summer, vote for your favourite book. So get set to join the Team Read, head to your local library or mobile library, join our Team, read books and VOTE.
