activeIT makes it easy for you to use a PC, whether you're an expert or an absolute beginner.
Try some desktop publishing, create a spreadsheet, surf the net, e-mail your friends or family. Learn on-line, finish your homework, use a multi-media CD-ROM, use a printer, a scanner, a mouse - or just find out how to switch a PC on! activeIT works at your level.
You don't need to have previous experience of computers to come into an activeIT centre, our friendly staff will guide you and help you feel confident enough to go it alone.

- Do I have to be a member of the library?
- No, you can use the learning centre without being a library member, but you can join at the same time if you wish.
- Can I get help when I need it?
- Yes. Library staff will be happy to get you started on a course of computer-based training. Tutor-led courses are also available throughout the year - look out for posters in the library or check this website for further details.
- Can I use the Internet?
- Yes. You can surf the net and e-mail your friends and relatives - and its FREE!
